What we collect

When you shorten a link we store the destination URL, the slug, and the creation time.

  • Without an account: your links are kept in your browser (localStorage) plus a secret management key only you hold.
  • With Google sign-in: your email and name, used only to show your links across devices.
  • Suggestions: the message you send from the feedback form, stored on its own — no name, email, or IP is saved with it, which is also why we cannot reply.

Click statistics

For each click on a short link we record the country, device type, and referrer.

We do not store IP addresses, names, or anything that identifies the person who clicked.

Cookies & advertising

We use Google AdSense to keep the service free. Google may set cookies to show relevant ads; you can opt out of personalized ads in your Google settings.

In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent banner (IAB TCF v2.2) asks for your consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can change that answer at any time.

We set no tracking cookies of our own. Signing in sets a session cookie so you stay signed in — it exists only to make that feature work, never to follow you around.

QR codes & uploads

QR codes are generated entirely in your browser. Logos you add to a QR code never leave your device — nothing is uploaded to our servers.

Deleting your data

  • Delete any link from its management page — it stops working immediately and its stats are erased.
  • Signed-in users can delete their account and all links from the dashboard.
  • Data of deleted links is removed from our systems within 30 days.

Contact

Questions about this policy or your data? Email luud.link@gmail.com — we reply within a few days.

In short: we keep the minimum needed to make your links work, we can't identify who clicks them, and your QR logos never leave your browser.
