Fifty QR codes in one pass

What the bulk QR tool does

Paste up to 50 lines — each one a link or any other text — and generate a QR code for every one of them at once. The whole set downloads as a single ZIP containing PNG files named qr-01.png through to the last line, numbered in the order you entered them.

That numbering is the only thing tying a file back to its source, so keep the list you pasted. Ten minutes after the download, a folder of fifty codes with no accompanying list is fifty codes you have to scan one at a time to identify.

These codes are static by default

Each code encodes exactly the line you typed. Nothing is counted, and the destination is fixed inside the pattern from the moment it is generated — a printed code cannot be repointed afterwards.

If you need scan counts, or the ability to change a destination after printing, run your list through the bulk shortener first and generate the codes from the short links it gives you. That tool can also hand you the whole batch of QR codes directly, which saves a step.

Printing a batch

The same rules that govern a single code govern fifty of them, and getting one wrong at batch scale is expensive. Roughly 2×2 cm of code per 20 cm of reading distance; a quiet zone of about 10 percent of the code's width left clear on every side; dark modules on a light background.

Test before the run, not after. Print one code at final size on the actual stock, scan it with an old phone in the lighting the codes will really live in, and only then send the other forty-nine.

Where a batch of codes makes sense

Table numbers in a restaurant, seat or badge codes at an event, asset tags on equipment, one code per product in a catalogue, room cards in a hotel, or a set of tracking codes for a print run that goes to several different places.

The common thread is that each code needs to point somewhere different. If every code would point at the same destination, you need one code duplicated fifty times, not fifty codes — generate a single one and let the printer repeat it.

Questions about bulk QR codes

How many QR codes can I generate at once?

Fifty per batch, one per line. There is no cap on how many batches you run.

What is in the ZIP file?

A PNG for each line, named qr-01.png, qr-02.png and so on, numbered in the order you entered them. Keep your source list so you can tell which file belongs to which entry.

Can I count scans on these codes?

Not directly — codes made here are static and count nothing. To get scan counts, shorten your list with the bulk shortener first and build the codes from those short links, since a short link counts every visit it receives.

Can these codes hold plain text rather than links?

Yes. Each line can be a URL or any other text, and the code will carry it exactly as typed.

Can I add a logo to codes made in bulk?

The centre-image option lives on the single QR generator, where you can position and test it against one code. For a batch, generate there if the logo matters more than doing all fifty at once.
